Dr. Farooqui completed Internal Medicine Residency training at Columbia University St. Luke’s Hospital (now Mt. Sinai) and the University of Massachusetts. She then pursued a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine from the University of South Alabama and developed an interest in asthma and allergies during her research at Thomas Jefferson University. While practicing as a Pulmonologist, Sleep specialist, and Intensivist, she noticed how a single disease can manifest differently in different individuals. These observations led her to pursue a two-year Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona under the direct mentorship of Dr. Andrew Weil. Due to her procedure-oriented nature, she considered combining regenerative procedures with Integrative and Functional Medicine. She, therefore, sought training and certification in Laser and RF device applications. She is also certified in Dr. Charles Runel’s techniques and had the prestigious opportunity to learn facial aesthetics directly from international experts. She is an active member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, Cellular Medicine Association, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
